After weeks of the weather report saying thunderstorms all day today, we woke up to a surprise and got sun until 3pm! We loved exploring more of Ohrid. This morning we expected to have sun until 10am so we got up early to go on a boat ride on Lake Ohrid, see the Church of Saint John, climb up to Tsar Samoil's Fortress, and take some pictures. We had a few extra hours by surprise and enjoyed walking around Old Town and purchasing local art.

This afternoon we went to the Paper Museum where they show you how paper is made with a live demonstration. It was so cool to see the process. They also had one of only two copies in the world of the Gutenberg Press, the original printing press. The man showed us how it worked and made a print for us. We all bought prints on their homemade paper, a really cool souvenir.

After the museum Josh got a haircut and it looks great! The barber had two young sons watching to learn how to do it one day, and one of them even did the finishing touches. I gave them both a tip and made sure it was enough to get ice cream across the street.

And sadly today is Sylvia’s last day with us before she heads home. It has been so wonderful traveling together and I will miss her soo much until August when I’m back in DC. Finishing the night with a nice dinner out and drinks
