We spent a little time walking around the capital city of Valletta before taking a ferry over to the second biggest island, Gozo! We landed in Mgarr and a cab driver offered to take us around the island all night for a very fair price! Gozo is home to the oldest structure in the entire world, dating back to 3,000 BCE. The Megalithic Temples were our first stop and really exciting to see. We also visited the cliffs and the “blue hole” where we got beautiful views of the Mediterranean. We climbed on the rocks and braved the ocean breeze to get beautiful pictures. We ended our time in Gozo in the largest city of Victoria where we climbed up a beautiful fort and saw great views of the island. We had dinner before heading back to Mgarr to catch the last ferry of the day to the main island of Malta.
