Spending my 21st birthday weekend in Barcelona, Spain! Somewhere I’ve wanted to go since I was 5 years old from the Cheetah Girls 2! We got in late last night and had a birthday surprise hotel room upgrade and Cava (Spanish champagne) from my family! This morning we went to Park Guell which has beautiful mosaics and architecture by Antoni Gaudi, the artist that designed most of Barcelona. We saw Casa Batllo, another one of his works later this afternoon. We went to La Rambla which is one of the main streets. It was beautiful to walk down. We got souvenirs and Sangria, and saw support for Ukraine. We went to La Boqueria street market for lunch, where we found a Dunkin and a Starbucks right next to each other which I found funny. Afterwards we had a little bit of rain so we went to the beautiful Palau de Musica music hall for a self guided visit. Tonight we got dressed up and went to Placa Reial for dinner and drinks! There was an outdoor party with a DJ in the middle of the square!
